He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Santini Bourg; his parents, Edward Peter Bourg Sr. and Henrietta Marie Poiencot Bourg; his daughter Jessica Lynn Bourg; and his sister Sandra Bouffanie McCaleb.
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Duplantis (Rodney), Vickie Coyle (Britt) and Christy Bourg (Bobby); his siblings, Edward Bourg Jr. (Lula Mae), Reynold Bourg Sr. (Ella) and Christine Bourg Verdin (Morris); his grandchildren, Tate Fontenot, Joanna Gautreaux, Hayden Coyle, Brennon Duplantis, Cade Gautreaux, Drae Ambrose and Britt Coyle Jr.; and his great grandchild Lucas Pedersen.
