With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella Verrett of Houma, Louisiana, born in Raceland, Louisiana, who passed away on November 21, 2024 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Alexander and Elenoise Alexander; her mother-in-law Ethel Johnson; her son Kentrell "Click" Dewey Charles Sr.; and her sisters, Mary Verrett, Betty Charles and Yolanda Bias.
She is survived by: her husband Arnold Verrett Jr. of Houma, LA; her children, Kendra St Helen (Charles) of Detroit, MI and Deon Charles Sr. of Zachary, LA; her stepson Tyson Verrett of Ukiah, CA; her siblings, Edward Alexander Jr. and Delphine Bias of Houma, LA; and her father-in-law Arnold Verrett, Sr. of Houma, LA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
