It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elder Gayle Marie Walker Bell of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Pamela Campbell and Reginald Walker, Jr.; her grandparents, Victoria Walker and Norman James; her great-grandparent Myrtle Williams; and her niece Angela Melara.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra D. Bell of Houma, LA and Terrance Gathen (Nekisha) of Chackbay, LA; her father Reginald Walker, Sr.; her close friend Curtis Powe of Houma, LA; her siblings, Barbaras Williams of Thibodaux, LA, Antoinette Clark of Las Vegas, NV and Tony Scott of Las Vegas, NV; and her grandchildren, Jannel Redmond, Rechell Gathen, Victoria Brown, Teandra Gathen, Kobe, Saniya Brown, Da'My Gathen and Kaeden Gathen. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
