He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Joseph Chauvin and Delnotte Toups Chauvin; his brother Royce Moore; and also Langar Moore. He is survived by: his wife Mabel Baio Moore; his daughters, Karen (Curt Marcello) and Connie (Claude Seago); his grandchildren, Callie (Corey Thiac), Sadie, Kate Thiac, Courtney (Ryan Clement) and Reese Clement; his daughter Elise Seago; his stepgrandchildren, Terie Marcello, Curt Marcello, Brettly, Katie and Alex; his half-sister Peggy Catsikis; and also Cammie Seago.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
