He is survived by: his wife Joanne Jackson Ruffin; his children, Perry Breaux, Terrence Jackson, Oray Jackson and Eddie Jackson; his stepsons, Kenyiell Jackson (Carol Elder), Chimere Williams and Klenthy Friday (Valerie Ruffin); his siblings, Frank Ruffin and Eva Mae Stevenson; his son Dontrell Jackson; and his brother Walter Hickerson.
