She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer J. Lirette; her parents, Jean Pinel and Annie Lapeyrouse Pinel; her siblings, Eris Pinel (Janice), Velma Authement (Leroy), Joyce Cavalier (Claude), Edris Dufrene (Manny) and Betty Acosta; and her sons, Robert Lirette and Kevin Lirette.
She is survived by: her son Roy "Bud" Caro; her daughter-in-law Irma Pitre; her grandchildren, Tara Trahan (Jamie), Ryan Caro (Kyle), Kevin Caro (Melanie), Chance Caro, Luke, Liam Trahan, Chloe, Isabelle Caro, Laura Guidry and Mackenzi Daigle; and her siblings-in-law, Ernestine "Teenie" Pitre and Marvin Acosta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
