With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Stevenson Jr. of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on October 3, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Julian Mark Stevenson; his parents, Earl, Sr. Stevenson and Millie Wheaton Stevenson; and his siblings, Alfred, George, Lorenzo, Calvin Stevenson, Minerva Nixon, Audrey S. Jackson and Octavia S. Byrd.
He is survived by: his wife Earline Butler Stevenson; his children, Earl, III, Michael Stevenson, Harold Stewart, Cedric Franklin, Sharvon Simmons, Sheron Stevenson and Donna Gabriel; and his sisters, Mildred Anderson and Constancenella Newton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren,; eighteen great-grandchildren.
A public viewing will be conducted from 12:00 p. m. until funeral time at 2:00 p. m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at First Baptist Church, 1987 Hwy 311, Schriever, LA 70395. (Per CDC regulations/local requirements all visitors must wear face masks in building at all times and practice social distancing).
