He was predeceased by: his parents, Irwin Rhodes and Lillian Rhodes; and his daughter Tiffany Neil. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Rhodes; his children, Tamico Galtier (Todd), Donald "Donnie" Rhodes II and Derek Rhodes (Shelley); and his grandchildren, Kacie, Maegan Galtier, Lauren, Lillie Neil, Jessica, Jamie, Donald III, Kaylie Schexnider and Matthew Rhodes.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Annunziata Catholic Church (2011 Acadian Dr, Houma, LA 70363). A Mass was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
