Donald P. Schwab Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald P. Schwab Sr. of Houma, Louisiana, born in Labadieville, Louisiana, who passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Schwab and Amy Landry Schwab; his siblings, Huey J. Schwab and Fernan S. "Fertie" Richard; and his extended family, Dennis Foret, Eugene Richard and Susan Schwab.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy DeFatta Schwab; his children, Michelle Scarpero (Randy), Kristi Maiorana (Sal) and Donald Paul "D. P." Schwab, Jr. (Jeana); his grandchildren, Dante Scarpero (Kailyn), Dominic Maiorana (Katie), Jonathan Scarpero (Bailee), Alaina Maiorana, Sydney Schwab, Josie Schwab and Julianna Schwab; his great grandchildren, Sawyer Scarpero and James Maiorana; his siblings, Jerry Schwab and Cindy Schwab; and his sister-in-law Joyce Foret. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 8:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM.
