He is survived by: his wife Anna M. Duet Banowetz; his children, Donald Banowetz Jr. (Jamey), Kay Banowetz Kilburg (Martin), Susan Banowetz Snyder (Jerome), Linda Banowetz Hemphill (Lance) and Sandra Banowetz LaRose (Paul); his siblings, Raymond Banowetz (Pat), Norbert Banowetz and Clara Hermiston; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth J. Bergeron, Ellen Theriot Duet, Betty Duet Melancon, Iris Duet Bergeron and Sally Kilburg Banowetz; and his grandchildren, Alicia Vannatta (Chuck), Don Banowetz III (Jamie), Melissa Broussard (Seth), Adam Braden, Matthew Kilburg (Eileen), Emily Treadway (Justin), Erin Snyder, Jennifer Snyder, Dustin Britt (Melody Matherne), Erica Burgess, Allison LaRose, Michael LaRose and Anna Claire LaRose. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family.
