She was predeceased by: her husband Albert J. Deroche; her sons, Michael J. Deroche and Ralph J. Deroche; her grandsons, Dean Chaisson, Jr., Sean Chaisson and Dale F. Babin, Jr.; her great grandchild Kenly Renee Dominique; her parents, Francois Labit and Mertilia Babin Labit; and her siblings, Magnus Labit, Edrith Toups, Mildred Labit, Bernice Pontiff and Dorothy Champagne.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Deroche (Laverne), Dianna Deroche (Myron Aycock) and Susan Chaisson (Dean); her daughters-in-law, Roxane Deroche and Shanna Deroche; and her close friends, Hilda Kissell and Paula Porter. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
