He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Henri Guidry Vegas; his brother Ricky Burnham; and his godchild Dante. He is survived by: his wife Libby Thibodeaux Vegas; his children, Ben Portier (Katie), Chastity Vegas (Donny Pitre) and Sierra Vegas; his granddaughters, Carli, Chloe and Pitre; his father Herbert Vegas; his siblings, Luigi Vegas (Lisa) and Angel Vegas Blanchard (Toby); his godchild Mark Pregeant II; his nieces, Aly and Savannah Blanchard; his nephew Dominic Vegas; and his pet Koda Bear. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
