She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Smith, Jr. and Margaret Taylor Smith. She is survived by: her son Daronte Smith, Sr.; her siblings, Earland Smith (Odelia), Quindre Smith, Sharon S. Harris (Wayne) and Dwanda Smith-James (Floyd, Sr.); her grandchildren, Dalaysia Smith and Daronte Smith, Jr.; and her siblings, Terrence George, Cacynthia Andrell Menezes and Pamela Stacey Porche.
