He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Claire Pellegrin Rogers; his parents, Alfred Rogers and Lillia Boudreaux Rogers; and his brother Raymond Rogers (Boozy). He is survived by: his children, Jana Claire Shelton (Rodger), Dena Sutherland (Preston), Barry Rogers and Perry Rogers (Peppi); his granddaughter Kiley Claire Markey; his great grandchildren, Jack Joseph and Mia Claire Markey; and his sister Sandra Cresswell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (4355 LA-24, Bourg, LA 70343). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
