He is survived by: his wife Gloria Dobson; his children, James Cain (Tiny), Samuel Dobson (Tenicka), David Dobson Jr. and Ethel DeHart (JJ); his son-in-law Carlin DeHart Sr.; and his mother Mary Dobson. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; two sisters; one brother.
