He is survived by: his wife Ellery Lovell Karpinski; his children, Daryl, Jr. (Lisa), Chancey (Tanya), Brien (Kelsey), Nicole (John), Summer (Eddie) and Shonda; his grandchildren, Victoria, Madison, Allee, Blaze, Kira, Abygail, Ramie, Dallas, Alayah, Parker, Ellieana, Kullen, Ryleigh, Ardyn, Gracie, Wittley, Braygen of Gretchen, R. J. and Ken; his siblings, Marlon (Gina), Nancy Pitre (Horace) and Beth; his nieces and nephews, Kellie (Chris), Karynn (Lane), Marlon, Jr. (Lacy), Randy and Blake; his great-nieces, Olivia, Bailey, Brooke and Laney; and his great-nephew Zane. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
