He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Buquet Richard; his parents, Edgar Richard and Daisy Voisin Richard; his children, Daniel Richard, Jr., Suzanne Peters and Donna Richard; his grandson Shawn Jaccuzzo; and his siblings, Nolan Richard, Edgar Richard, Jr. and Betty Gautreaux.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheryn Weaver, Lisa Hilton and Linette Walton (Gordon); his grandchildren, Carey Jaccuzzo (Heather), Whitney Weaver (Rebecca), Sara Scurlock (Trevor), Daniel "Jake" Richard (Maegan), Heidi Clark (Shawn), Richard "Rick" Hilton, William "Will" Hilton (Brandie), Emily Faber (Jeff) and Ashley Morris (Mitch); and his siblings, Doris Freeman, Barbara Pellegrin, Janet LeBlanc and Manuel Richard. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
