He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert Foster Sr. and Gertie Boudreaux Foster. He is survived by: his wife Annette Ledet Foster; his children, Dehron Foster (Henry Avery), Deitra Foster (David Geoffroy), Dawn Mayet, Ginger Leblanc (Ronnie) and Christina Prevost; his grandchildren, Ryan Mayet, Morgan Pierce Domangue, Blake Prevost and Reese Leblanc; and his siblings, William "Billy" Foster (Annette) and Dianne Foster Blanchard (Al).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the START Corporation or the Rotary Foundation.
