He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bourgeois and Gladys Boudreaux Bourgeois; his parents-in-law, Elmo and Lena Vedros; his siblings, Wayne Bourgeois, Sandra Bergeron and Mary Lynn Gambarella (Adam); and his sisters-in-law, Diane Vedros and Dorothy Bourgeois.

He is survived by: his wife Gayle V. Bourgeois; his daughters, Donna LeBeouf and Michele Bourgeois; his siblings, Aaron Bourgeois, Lloyd Bourgeois (Darla), Carmen Naquin (James) and Janet Theriot (Dusty); his grandchildren, Derek LeBeouf, Angie Ellis and Allison Cazenave (Chris); his great grandchild Cooper Cazenave; and his siblings-in-law, Norman Bergeron and Joyce Hebert (Leroy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to Haydel Memorial Hospice.
