She is survived by: her husband Carnel Bolden; her children, Christopher Short (Toni) and Chelsea Bolden; her stepdaughter Makiva Van Buren; her brother Elgin Short (Lupe); her nieces, Aisha and Latoya Williams; her nephew LaTerrance Harris (Antionette); her grandchildren, Cymphoni Short, Mekhi, Ashur Van Buren and Kanen Allridge; her great-niece JaMya Dubose; and her godchild Kylie Stuart.
