It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cody Smith of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on September 10, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Alton Swan; and his grandparents, Theo, Julia Swan, Robert and Cecelia Walls Smith.

He is survived by: his children, Cody Bingham, Z'Cody Smith, Courtney Bingham and Kendia Thomas; his mother Cynthia Lavine (Yourick, Jr.); and his siblings, Chad Smith (Jerne), Yourick Lavine, III (Sharrie), Troy Bradley, Gregory Swan, Angela Lavigne, Anita, Rhonda and Jackie Swan. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
