It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Scott Jr. of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Woods Ross; his siblings, Ronald Scott and Geraldine Scott; and his grandparents, Aurestile, Sr., Pinkie Atkins Scott, Thomas and Lillie Calloway Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Wilkerson Scott; his children, Clarence, III, Cody Scott, Ashunta Singleton, Brittney Davis (Willliams) and Kimberly Scott; his father Clarence Scott, Sr. (Paulette); and his siblings, Randolph, Melvin, Travelle Scott, Corey Williams (Erin), Keon Jackson, Patricia Harding (Bruce) and Carolyn S. Henry. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
