He was predeceased by: his uncle Stevie; his aunt Connie; his great-aunt Betty; and his cousin Jason. He is survived by: his son Ethan Laird; his parents, John Laird and Robin Laird; his sister Rachel Meyers (Chad); his nephews, Everett and Finn Meyers (Ana Acosta); his aunt Barbara Ruth Tomlinson (Doug); his cousin Niki Baughman (Brian); his great-uncle Willard Addington (Pam); his pet Lucky; and also Dale.
In lieu of flowers, those who choose to make a memorial contribution may send to Saint Bernadette Catholic School in Houma where his son attends, First United Methodist Church in Houma, or charity of choice.
