It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Eschete (Houma, Louisiana), born in Chauvin, Louisiana, who passed away on February 7, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Jules A. Desormeaux; her parents, Raymond Domangue and Nora White Domangue; her brother Westley James Domangue; her brothers-in-law, Magnus "Joey" Fields III and James Duncan; and her parents-in-law, Felton Joseph Desormeaux, Earl Francis Eschete, Sr., Wilda "Pete" Robichaux Desormeaux and Thelma Price Eschete.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Dawn Desormeaux, Toni Porretto (Andre) and Casey Desormeaux (Francie); her grandchildren, Tonya Verrett (Taylor Sr.), Julie Roberts, Judd Roberts, Jacob Roberts, Emma Porretto and Jules C. Desormeaux; her great grandchildren, Madison Verrett, Taylor Verrett, Jr., Jaidyn Roberts and Jourdyn Roberts; her siblings, Norma LeBoeuf (Alley), Susan Duncan, Pamela Blanchard (Wayne), Sherwin Domangue (Tara) and Sherwood Domangue (Kemala); her siblings-in-law, Annie Domangue Guidroz (Ray), Sydney Eschete Knight (Rodney), Betty Desormeaux Fields, Joanna Desormeaux Neil (Eddie) and Earl Francis Eschete, Jr.; and her pets, Gracie and Faith.
