We bid farewell to Chris Samanie of Houma, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 9, 2025 at the age of 69. Chris touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Chris' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Chris has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivy Samanie and Ruth Samanie; and his siblings, Joy Samanie, Janet Samanie, Brenda Martin and Wayne Samanie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dodi LeBlanc (Chris) and Myra Boholst (Dave); and his siblings, Michael Samanie (Brenda), Judy Cosby (Roy), Darlene Samanie and Cheryl Sevin (Brian). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Samart Funeral Home of Houma (635 Bayou Blue Rd, Houma, LA 70364). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
