He was predeceased by: his mother Eva Melancon; his sisters, Evelyn Melancon and Victoria Kell; and his niece Amanda Melancon. He is survived by: his wife Patricia East; his daughters, Stephanie Marcel (Ronald) and Jennifer Long (James); his grandchildren, Anthony Marcel, Aaron Marcel, Shawn East, Kylie Naquin and Blake East; his brothers, Kenneth East and Edward Melancon; and his niece Tammy MeLancon.
