It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Head Jr. of Houma, Louisiana, born in Newellton, Louisiana, who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Culpepper Head; his sons, Glenn and Martin "Marty" Head; his parents, Chester Head, Sr. and Flossie Martin Head; and his siblings, Hattabelle Lee, Drexel Head, Terry Head and Jerry Head.
He is survived by: his children, Marena Head Pizzolatto (Leonard) and Stanley Head (Julie); his grandchildren, Brennan Head (Caroline), Justin Head (Jessica), Daniel Head, Anne-Kathryn Head Johnston (Shawn), Derek Pizzolatto (Deanna) and Natalie Pizzolatto Moser (Joseph); his great grandchildren, Janna, Rebekah, Rachel, Emily, Justin II, James, William, Annalee, Hudson Head, Asher, Tullis, Griffin Johnston, Arianna and Tobias Moser; and his sisters, Agatha Gassaway, Lynne Moore and Daphne Higginbotham.
