It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Tillman of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Matthews, Jr. and Dorothy Mae Tillman Matthews; his siblings, Dwayne, Herbert Lee, Darry Matthews and Priscilla Matthews Spencer; his brother-in-law Nathan Joseph Meyers, Jr.; and his grandparents, Earl Sr. and Albertha Matthews.
He is survived by: his siblings, Cynthia Matthews, Gail Meyers, Terry, Barry, Johnel, Stacy and Perry Matthews (Luaipoumalo). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles and other relatives and friends.
