It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll Sapia Jr. of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Sapia; his parent Carroll Sapia Sr. (Bessie); his daughter Christine Dempster (Barry); his son-in-law Kerry Dumont; his siblings, Ernest Sapia, Richard Sapia (Sandy), James, Johnny Sapia and Peggy Liner (Percy); his siblings-in-law, Clarence Chatagnier, Anthony Lodrigue, Barbara Sapia and Charlene Sapia; and his great grandchild Brinleigh Sapia.
He is survived by: his close friend Hazel Lafevre; his children, Carroll Sapia Jr. (Mary), Rusty Sapia (Tessie), Cathy White (Kenneth), Jackie Sapia and Mary Sapia; and his siblings, Michael Sapia, Whitney Sapia, Tommy Sapia (Eva), Randall Sapia (Christine), Larry Sapia, Margaret Chatagnier, Linda Lodrigue, Anna Trahan (Wallace), Martha Sapia (Brett) and Darlene Hotard (Tony). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
