With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carrol Martin (Houma, Louisiana), who passed away on December 29, 2019 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Martin and Doris Guidry Martin; and his brother Earl Francis Martin. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Porche Martin; his children, Cy Joseph Martin, Dex Joseph Martin and Marcelli Rosamond (K. P. Rosamond); his grandchildren, Ace Joseph Martin, Brendan Rosamond and Jordan Rosamond; his sister Earline Martin Theriot (Buck Theriot); his godchild Leigh Champagne; and his brother-in-law Rayne Joseph Porche (Pam). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

He gave of his talent and time while painting houses for those who were in need, made donations of all sorts, and generously invested in the future of his nieces and nephews.

“I knew carrol when i was in my twenties, he was very kind and extremely funny. As the years passed, he saw my name on facebook and we started to talk, he hadn't changed at all.
