Carmen Dugas Bussey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmen Dugas Bussey of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on May 11, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley "Pookie" Bussey, Jr.; her grandson Derrick Patrick Bussey; her parents, Wilson Dugas and Carmen Dugas; and her siblings, Wilson Jr., Lawrence, Roland, Eugene Dugas, Mildred Dugas, Ollie Fanguy and Lillian Dugas.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Bussey (Emily), Pamela Dulock (Mike), Stanley "Stan" Bussey III (Michelle), Patrick Bussey (Joyce) and Corey Bussey (Ermalyn); and her brother Allen Dugas, Sr. (Audrey). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, masses can be made at St. Bernadette Catholic Church and the American Cancer Society in Carmen's name and memory.
