Carlos Natareno Castellanos Obituary

Carlos Natareno Castellanos, a longtime resident of Houma, Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the age of 66 at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia.

Carlos was born on December 12, 1955 in Gutaemala and came to the US in 1985. He worked as a welding contractor for various ship yards in many states. His favorite pastime was fishing and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Those he leaves to cherish his memory include his father Jesus Natareno Vasquez; his son, Carlos Natareno Castellanos Jr. and his wife Loren; his longtime companion, Madge Cortez; step-daughter, Ericka Trosclair and her companion Diogenes Heredia; step-son, Lucas Trosclair and his wife Mandy; 12 grandchildren, Nichan, Jeromy, Joshua, Madeline, Jacqueline, Christian, Kash, Alexis, Carter, Raelynn, Natalie, and Lucas Jr.; and one great grandchild, Brunella.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsa Marina Castellanos.

In keeping with Carlos' wishes, he will be cremated. The family will hold memorial services to be announced at a later date.
