He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Castle, Sr. and Leola Lyons Castle; his daughter Marion Stevenson; and his brothers, William Castle, Albert Castle and Sonny Castle.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Castle; his children, Kim Theriot, Lori Sims (Jessie), Legena Castle, Virginia Castle, Twyla Johnson, Claudia Miles, Pamela Lewis and Sherl Tuner (Michael); and his siblings, Alvin Castle, Freddie Castle (Margie), Clyde Castle, Larry Castle, Kevin Castle (Janet), Joyce Matthews (Glenn), Lillie Jolivette (Rodney), Betty Cannon and Marion James.
