He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Paul Pitre Sr.; his siblings, Tammy Lynn Pitre Breaux and James "Pep" Pellegrin; and his grandparents, Justilian, Lena Mary Pitre, Walter and Rose Mary Boudreaux.

He is survived by: his children, Christopher Malachi Gregoire and Haylie Elizabeth Tabor; his mother Marie Walterine Pitre; his siblings, David Pitre, Eugene Paul Pitre Jr. and Lena Marie Pitre Billiot; and his grandchildren, Paislee Pitre Miller and Asher Anthony Scully. He is also survived by 4 nieces; and 3 nephews.
