With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bobby Martinez (Houma, Louisiana), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Martinez Sr. and Lelia Martinez; his siblings, Alvin Martinez, Anna Melerine and Nancy Winkler; his son Robb Patrick Martinez Sr.; and his grandchildren, Anastasia Martinez, Gregory Songe and Bobby Andras.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Champagne Martinez; his children, Kevin John Chauvin, Jody James Martinez (Elrena), Timothy "Timmy" Wayne Martinez Sr. and Holyn Martinez Andras (Cliff); and his brothers, William "Big Boy" Martinez Jr. (Nancy) and John Martinez. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Gregory Catholic Church (1005 Williams Ave, Houma, LA 70364). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memories Cemetery (3658 W Main St, Gray, LA 70359).
In lieu of flowers, Bobby requested donations to the Wounded Warriors, Light House for the Blind, or the American Heart Association.
