It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Anthony Degeyter of Houma, Louisiana, born in Loreauville, Louisiana, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles "Choppy" Cade Sr., Roxie Cade, Roy Degeyter Sr. and Viola Degeyter; his godmother Frances Delcambre; his uncles, Charles Cade Jr., Edwin Jordan and Billy Ray Anderson; and his aunt Delores Jordan.
He is survived by: his parents, Roy "Botch" Degeyter Jr. and Carol Cade Degeyter of Loreauville; his brothers, Barry Degeyter (Susan) of New Iberia and Boudy Degeyter of Loreauville; his goddaughter Caroline Degeyter of New Iberia; and his nephew Matthew Degeyter of New Iberia. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
