It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Pontiff (Houma, Louisiana), who passed away on December 5, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Junius Charles Pontiff, Sr.; her parents, Francois Labit and Matilda Babin Labit; her daughter Peggy P. Vice (Dickie); and her siblings, Magnus Labit, Edrith Toups, Mildred Labit and Dottie Champagne.
She is survived by: her sons, Junius C. Pontiff, Jr. and Reggie A. Pontiff (Laura); her grandchildren, Kimberly Shaw, Wendy Rodriguez, Erica Pontiff, Jason Pontiff, Alison Arceneaux, Matthew Vice and Madison Pontiff; and her sister Dolores Deroche.
