She was predeceased by: her husband Alphonse Haston, Sr.; her mother Allener Johnson Walters (Charlie, Sr.); and her brother John Wesley Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Bishop John Haston (Anita), Alphonse Haston, Jr. (Goldeaner), Sharon H. Powe (Jessie), Jeanie H. Armstrong (George), Minister Brenda H. Ely (Carvin), Barabara H. Payne, Belinda H. Wallis (Garyland) and Gwendolyn H. Turner (Kim); her brothers, Joseph Johnson (Ollie) and Charles Walters; and her siblings-in-law, Marion Haston and Barabara Ellen Haston.
Due to the pandemic and restrictions on seating area, funeral services will be limited to immediate family members.
