She was predeceased by: her husband Isaac Smith; her children, Harold V. Stewart, Wayne Smith and Catherine Susie Ann Stewart; her grandchildren, Gatley Virgin, Jr. and Jerenda U. Dillard; her parents, Harry McKinley and Ruby Alvis McKinley; her siblings, Harry, Jr., Melvin, Charles McKinley, Olivia Diggs, Hazel Porche, Shirley Mae McKinley and Rosemary Williams; and her goddaughter Stephanie Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur Smith (Debbie), James, Bertel Stewart (Virginia), Jean Virgin (Gatley, Sr.), Juanita Stewart and Sheila Butler (Thomas); and her goddaughter Tammy Tony. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
