He was predeceased by: his parents, Barthlemy Verdin and Loraine Verdin; his son Donald Ray Verdin; his brother Soloman Verdin; and his granddaughter Shere.
He is survived by: his children, Wiggis Joseph Verdin, Wiggis Basil Verdin (Cynthia), Barthlemy Basil Verdin, Belinda Ann Verdin and Amy Verdin Avila; his brother Andrew Paul Verdin; and his grandchildren, Tre, Kyrie, Lina, Semyria, Tai, Mylinh, Eliseo, Alice, Donald, Angel, JodieAnn and SeanPaul. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made directly to Samart Funeral Home, Bayou Blue in order to cover funeral expenses.
