She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Poindexter and Leola Nash Poindexter; her son Gregory Hartman; her sister Ernestine P. Perkins; her brothers-in-law, Mark Perkins and James E. Charles; and her brother Herbert Guidry.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Hartman Jr.; her daughter Debra Ann Hartman; her grandchildren, Derrick Johnson of Houma, LA, Daniell N. Hartman of Houma, LA, Chantal Trosclair of Houma, LA and Seaja (April) of New Orleans, LA; her sister Bernadine P. Charles of Houma, LA; her niece Heather Gobert (Robert) of Houston, TX; her goddaughter Debbie G. George of Houma, LA; and her sisters-in-law, Aletha Coleman of Houma, LA, Laverne H. Short of Houma, LA, Elizabeth Hartman of Houma, LA and Lizza Guidry. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
