He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jean "Ma Jean" Petty Chester; his children, Daniel Michael Chester and Mary Michelle Chester; his parents, Arthur Taylor and Rita Mae Newton Chester; and his sisters, Billie Jean Wilson and Glenda Ellis.
He is survived by: his sister Brenda Parker. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
