Archie Preston Jenkins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Archie Preston Jenkins of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on January 31, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Eve Mary Adams Jenkins; his son Lynn Douglas Jenkins; his parents, Dollie Johnson Jenkins and Ethan Jenkins; and his siblings, Leroy Jenkins, Allen Jenkins of Marvin Jenkins, K. C, Betty Pratt, Francis Carter and Florence Wells.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Meghan Thompson (Mark Thompson); his great grandchildren, Matthew Archer Thompson and Owen Michael Thompson; his grandson Eric Jenkins (Nyleva Corley); his daughter-in-law Elvira Jenkins; and his granddaughter Amanda Blanchard (Chad Blanchard). He is also survived by neighbors, friends, and the nurses.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or similar organizations that support veterans.
