He is survived by: his children, Delta Verret (Bernard) and Joseph Verdin, Sr.; his wife Monique; his grandchildren, Christi Fanguy (Nuggie), Shawna Guidry, Jonathan Verdin (Michelle), Brittney Verret, Tammy Adams, Timmy Adams, Glen Verdin, Jr., Jude Verret (Savana), Joseph Verdin, Jr. and Gerald St; and also, Kenneth Verdin (Earline), Raymond Verdin and Glen Verdin (Lawana).
