He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille B. Marcel; his parents, Gilbert Marcel and Zulma Brunet Marcel; and his brother Judge Cleveland Marcel (Laura Marcel). He is survived by: his children, Stephen Marcel (Lorraine), Alison Ricau (Jack) and Gilbert "G. G."; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer, Renee', Andre', Jackson, Jonathan, Ashlie', Gibb, Alexis, Barry, Alyssa, Emily, Christopher and Joshua; and his son Firestone.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic; local and CDC regulations require facemask and proper social distancing while attending funeral services.
