He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmore Darcey and Zona Darcey; and his brothers, Jessie Darcey, Earnest Darcey and Luther Darcey.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Darcey; his sons, Mark Darcey, Darren Darcey (Denise) and Eric Darcey; his stepdaughters, Heather Jackson (Ben), Dinah Lovell (Wayne) and Belinda Bergeron; and his siblings, Louis Darcey (Lois), Ronald Darcey (Lois) and Emma Darcey. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
