He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Henry Grillot Sr. and Elnora Bordelon Grillot; and his sister Helen Grillot. He is survived by: his brother Earl J. Grillot Sr.; his nephew Michael J. Grillot; and his wife Sherrie Grillot. He is also survived by other numerous nieces and nephews.
