He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie C. Pistole and Rose Lee King Sears; his siblings, Willie, Margie, Susie, Kathryn and Stanley; and his grandmother Mary Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Finley Pistole; his sisters, Betty and Nancy; his children, Deanna, Glen, Mary and Milena; his grandchildren, Shon, Gloria, Robert, Chris, Stephanie, Marlena, JoRae, Lia, Tomas, Matthew, Megan, Mary, Mindee and Jahni; and his brother-in-law Jack Eubanks. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
