He is survived by: his son Zane Abbitt of Vivian, LA; and his siblings, Sheryl Rowley (Sam) of St. Charles, MO, Rhonda DeNoux (Mike) of Blanchard, LA, Lisa Rice of Shreveport, LA and George Cobb (Jane) of Minden, LA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
