He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Hale and Brean Alford Hale Sr.; his wife Arlie Lorene Hale; and his sons-in-law, Mike Smith and Ricky Stewart.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Burns (Sondra) of Rosepine, Wayne Burns (Cherri) of Leesville, Vickie Wright (Dennis) of Negreet, Joanna Stewart of Hornbeck, Bonnie Smith of Hornbeck and Dot Hale. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
